So if your out and about then you can't miss all the holiday stuff! I LOVE the holidays its such a fun time of year. Mac's Holiday Collection came out a few weeks ago. (probably more like a month ago) One of the things I did pick up was this adorable neutral eyes palette. The packaging was beyond beautiful and I absolutely couldn't resist at least picking up one of these. Their is three of these palettes in the holiday collection but the boring ol neutral one always sucks me in.
The Glamour Daze collection was actually pretty large, and I'll do a review on the other things I got very soon. The palettes are still available on macs site here. My first impression not going to lie I wasn't all that impressed, I was contemplating on returning it. The palettes do run $40 so for that price I better love it because I could just get individual shades ya know. Any ways after using it a lot this past month I have grew to actually love it.
The lightest shade isn't crazy pigmented and it actually does take quite a bit of product to even get the color to show however I just love the rest of the shades. Even tho its not the most pigmented shadow it still does show up. It is a lighter shade to begin with so rarely ever do those light shades really have amazing color payoff.
Blonde Mink which is the lightest shade does feel somewhat gritty however their is teeny tiny amount of glitter in it (which doesn't really show up) so that's more then likely the reasoning for that.
Magical Mist is my favorite in this palette. It pulls almost a silvery taupe color. This color also has some glitter to it but once its applied its not very glittery looking it just gives a nice sheen to it.
Brun is the matte shade, its soo gorgeous lately I've been obsessed with matte shades so that really was what drew me into this palette most. The color is your basic deep brown that looks beautiful applied in the crease.
Enviable I actually haven't used to much of to be honest but the color is still really pretty. I don't get to spontaneous when it comes to eye shadow colors but this is super pretty and its one of those colors that would look good on just about anyone.
Smut is one of those colors that is a staple shadow in everyone's collection. The color is a deeper plumy brown. Looks great on the outer corner or even in the crease to really define it.

here's one of my FOTD wearing this eyeshadow palette ;)
On my lid is Magical Mist, Brun in my crease and Smut on the outer corner of my eye.
The rest of my face:

Highlight- Mac Superb
Lipstick- Mac Beauty & Hard Candy's gloss in Girl Next Door

Overall I do think this is a pretty great palette. I don't necessary think that its a MUST HAVE or you need to get it but if you like neutral colors or your a mac collector then I think you'd really like this even though one shade isn't crazy pigmented. The price is pretty reasonable for mac shadows, and the packaging well need I say more. lol
Did you get anything from this collection && sorry for posting this post so late its actually been in my drafts for over a week now =/
