I hope you all had a very enjoyable December. December is one of my favorite months out of the year. Minus the cold weather. I love how festive, and cheerful everyone is, the Christmas lights, family gathering its just such a warm cozy month. However, it does have its downfalls as well. Their is just so much anticipation and then its gone within a blink of an eye. Its crazy. All that anxiety for one day that flies by before you know it.
The products that I was really loving last month were majority of lip products with a few hair, and nails.
December Favorites were:
of course the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I've been using this every day since the day I got it. I really couldn't resist. I did do a full review here for swatches and comparisons to the first Naked palette.
Anastasia clear brow gel. This is one of my favorite products to set my brows. It doesn't budge until you actually remove it.
Nars blush in Sin. This blush like majority of Nars blushes is very pigmented and very shimmery. It doesn't take much product to apply these blushes, and that's well worth the money in my opinion..
Maybelline Dream Mouse blush in pink frosting. These cream blushes feel like velvet. I do set it with another similar powder blush. Overall this blush is very beautiful and perfect for the winter season considering my skin is less oily.
L'Oreal infallible no fail lipsticks. These are probably my second most favorite product this month. I'm really not sure why I haven't used these prior to this last month. It does come with two sides. One that is a liquid lipstick, and the other that is a gloss. These are absolutely well worth the money. I prefer these over any other lipsticks because you can eat, drink, whatever and it doesn't budge. All you have to do is remember is to apply the lip gloss/balm to keep it moisturized. If you don't it will crack and look like a hot mess, but if you do it will last you up to 10 hours no doubt. By far my new favorite lipsticks. I really didn't like to wear darker lipsticks because I had to worry about it getting on my teeth, or all over my face. These you don't have no worry's except to apply something to keep it from cracking throughout the day.
The colors pictured azlea, nutmeg, and mulberry.
Korres Lip butter. This is probably the most moisturizing lip products I've ever used. Its very thick, and smells soo good.
Bella ame lip scrub. You can make your own lip scrub easily. I love this because its very inexpensive, yet does the job nicely. I use this about once a week to exfoliate any dead skin cells to help prevent my lips from chapping. Its definitely a necessity in my weekly beauty routine. Here's a video recipe by Michelle Phan if you want to make your own.
Essie Nail polish: Jag u are is a gorgeous iridescent candy apple red color. Very pigmented and the constancy is one of the better Essie has came out with. Its completely opaque after one coat and looks so fab for the holiday season. Generally that's the only time I usually wear red, will see.
Essie luxeffects top coats set in stones. This is such a pain to remove and it chips your polish so easily but its just so pretty!
10.0.6 Mud mask. This I've been meaning to put in my favorites for a while now. It does have a cooling effect which I really love. It contains vitamin c which is great for clearing your skin. I have noticed it helps very much in getting ride of any deep down dirty pores. Its super inexpensive, I picked mine up at Ulta for under $6 Its also sold at Walgreens.
John Freda Brilliant Brunette conditioner. The John Freda conditioner is very moisturizing and really helps bring shine to my hair. I absolutely love how soft it makes my hair feel. I do wish it was a little bigger in size considering I have to use so much product in my hair because its so long and thick.
Victoria Secret Very Sexy Now Perfume has been one of my favorites for a while. I did recently pick up the perfume because I was using the body mist every so often but the perfume is even better. The scent is very feminine, yet light. Its a great floral fruity scent.
